Le v\u00e9hicule d&rsquo;essai, un mod\u00e8le de pr\u00e9s\u00e9rie, arrive sur le r\u00e9seau Transports Canard en janvier 2021 et circule en compagnie des Scania Omnicity GNV sur la ligne 5 du r\u00e9seau Citycanard. Toutefois, en mai 2021, le retrait de l&rsquo;Aptis du march\u00e9 du fait de son \u00e9chec commercial rend caduque l&rsquo;option d&rsquo;achat. Le prototype mis \u00e0 disposition de Transports Canard reste cependant en service jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 novembre 2022 o\u00f9 il est finalement rendu \u00e0 son constructeur. En 2025, Transports Canard r\u00e9cup\u00e8re le v\u00e9hicule et l&rsquo;incorpore \u00e0 sa collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Techniquement parlant, l&rsquo;Aptis d\u00e9rive directement du tramway sur pneumatiques Translohr dont le constructeur NTL fut absorb\u00e9 par Alstom et en r\u00e9cup\u00e8re notamment les trains roulants. Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;un v\u00e9hicule tr\u00e8s original dot\u00e9 de deux essieux directeurs rel\u00e9gu\u00e9s aux extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s, permettant une emprise monotrace ainsi qu&rsquo;un large espace central accessible aux PMR.
